Millennium Music Conference Extends Deadline

The 13th annual Millennium Music Conference has extended their deadline for bands to submit their press kits. Bands are chosen to showcase at the event over the course of 4 nights and three days in Harrisburg, Pa. Bands selected in Rounds 1-4 have already been announced.

MMC is one of the most respected and well known music conferences in the country and will be held from Feb. 12-15, 2009.

The Drama Club Has More Drama

The Drama Club returned home to Pennsylvania this week from their tour with Semi Precious Weapons and announced that their guitarist, Jon Novakovich, has left the band to purse his own music. Replacing Novakovich for a few shows in December will be Aaron Fink, guitarist for Breaking Benjamin.

OurAfter Goes RED For Two Shows

OurAfter, who released their EP “Tabula Rasa” on November 11, have just announced two shows in Pennsylvania with national recording artists RED.

The band will be playing December 17 at the Crocodile Rock in Allentown along with RED, Dive, and AJAR (another phenomenal local band). On December 18, they will rock the Chameleon Club in Lancaster with RED.

Another pleasant surprise for OurAfter fans: Chad Szeliga of Breaking Benjamin will be filling in on the drums throughout the month of December.

The Drama Club EP Sells Hundreds of Copies in First Week

The Drama Club, who released their self-titled EP on November 11, and are currently on tour with Semi Precious Weapons, hit the charts hard in the first week of the EP’s release.

Hierosonic Announced CD Release Date

November 15th, 2008

Hierosonic’s latest album will drop on January 24, 2009.

“We have FINALLY finished our mixing and mastering our new album ‘Kymatica.’ It’s been nearly 1 full year since we started it. We’re glad to have it done, and stoked to get it out to the world,” said the band in a MySpace blog.

The album release show will be on January 24 at the Dragonfly Nightclub in Harrisburg.

The album will be available for preorder. More details will be announced.

Evelyns Ashes Opening for Candlebox
